September 8-14 Poll Results

Some 10651 (!) players took part in the most recent poll (there was support for this poll on both forums, so no wonder :) ).  63% (6720 voters) voiced there strong feeling that the number of SPGs per team should be limited somehow, while 22% of players have no issues with the concept of SPGs and existing balance, 9% still don't like the way arty works in-game, and 6% think that it is OP.

Thanks for the feedback, it will take time, but the issue will be addressed.

As always new weekly poll is up (this time - just for fun).

  4. Sometimes you have 4 SPG`s, sometimes 1 and sometimes no. For me the balancing in WoT is perfect. I don`t want to have matches with limitations. I love the unexpected !

  6. Agreed, it should be generally limited to 2 with occasionally 3 per side, per match, but no more than that. Having 4 or more artillery per side is a problem.

  12. just fix the tracer problem and arty will be less effective, not much but still good enough. i miss those days where arty spend a few minutes at the start of match to counter battery.

  14. A limitation is a must in my opinion. Yesterday i had a game with me e-100 in a platoon with another e-100 and a Maus, map was capinovca with 8 artys per side!!! so with a total of 30 vehicles you had 16 Artys there and no hummel it was t8+9.

    A limitation like the ones for companys would be nice lets say a battle has a max of 15 Points for arty so you could see as maxed 1x t9 and 1x t6 on a side would be totally enough in my eyes.

    Arty as it is right now just kills the game.

    I think an platoon of 3 spg´s is too strong. There will be no dynamic in the match, because every spoted tank will be killed in a few seconds.

  21. Thx for this poll. 2-3 arties on public are OK. If you play clan wars it is really different and arties are really important. So for CW do not limit number of arties per game, please.

  22. Too many matches for me end in a stalemate between 4/5 arty pieces each side. When I see 5 arty on the opposing side it really takes the enjoyment out of the game, you just know that as soon as you get spotted all hell breaks loose and your dead before you know it. I much prefer the tank only battles. Arty has it's place for sure, but more than 2 it's no fun at all

    If arty is going to be limited heavies need a limit as well.

  24. Number of artilleries is not a problem, it is just matter of playing style between no arty and 3+ / side. Just like you have to adapt with mid-tier medium. Once you are strongest tank on your team and next you are no more than weak scout.

  25. I see one issue here: the epic medal awarded for destroying 5 SPGs in game (Burda's Medal). If the number is limited then this achievements should be changed as well. I, for one, have seen only once, in 3000+ games, more then 4 SPGs in one team.

  27. I agree with Lord Azaghul. The complaints about arty are totally out of the way. If you are annoyed by arty then you will be annoyed by the number of hevys after this arty "problem" is sorted out.
    Lets not get to the point when everything I am not playing with is OP and think a little about your play stile.

  28. The problem with too many arty for people is they dont know how to play from cover and love to be out in the open, sitting to fire. Players should learn more to be a total team player and go for the win as a whole. Not trying to get all the kills themselves and use arty to the advantage and spot for them instead of crying about them.

    Limiting arties to 3 per team is way easier to make than 2. Otherwise, when creating a platoon of three, all three wouldn't be allowed to pick arty. It would require more programming than just putting the right platoons together in the matchmaker.

  32. hey overlord , i think that having 3/4x arty per team is not the problem , its rather ok , it makes it a hard game , no mistakes allowd, problem that tank is rather easy for anyone to play and it has too much damage , tier 7 arty was ovp and you guys cooked the t8 arty where they can 1 shot 1 tier 10 .. that doesnt seem really ok , i dunno why you ppl did that , no offense; nerf them please ... even having two arty in game , if they t92s for example and shoot near you .. you prolly die .. uncool, this was my point .. it just equals that arty is ovp in my opinion.

  33. Arty is fine... as long as it isn't 5-6 on Malinovka... Think you shouldn't have more than 5, so that a "super-platoon" can be full arty. But when you have 6+ and just one is T5 the rest is over. Then it's OP.

  36. Every day I am playing there will be 3-5 matches with more than 4 SPGs.
    I want to play your game,because there will be not so many SPGs ;-)
    Style of playing?The only thing what is usefull in a match with more than 3 SPGs is to camp.
    Standing 10min behind a house or something like that, there will be no fun.

  38. I play only to get the "daily doubles" and sometimes in clan wars. It's only because i played lots of matches where people just couldn't do anything even with their tier 9-10 tanks. I don't say that tier 10 tanks are gods, but i think those who get these top tanks should've learned how to play while grinding for them. With this, i mean suicidal scouting IS-7s, Mauses going on the open field with 3 arties in the enemy team, and those T30s who think their armor is unpenetrable.

    So because of the number of these players, i play something else to relax and have fun. But as i said it's not the game's fault.

    About the arty problem: I voted for limiting the number per side. As a tank, you don't want to be raped in the first minute of the match. As an arty, you want to get damage and exp too, but it's harder when everyone is shot down before you can "lock on" to the target. Not to mention that everyone will blame you because you don't have 25 kills in a single battle.

  40. Q: Are tracers for hidden vehicles considered to be re-implemented in the game at some point in the future? I think that will resolve the issues that most people have with artillery and make the game more enjoyable to play again.

  41. In reply to the style of play comments. Being safe from arty can be fun if your not sure that they are going to shoot at you. If there is 5 arty a side then they are almost certainly going to shoot at you. Which means staying behind something for the entire match wee.
    As arty its boring as to because you have to hope your shells travel faster than your fellow arty so you get kills unless there whole team is lit up at the same time. Plus running out of tanks to spot for you makes for very kamikaze style play.

  46. Adapt? Only way for heavy or TD to adapt in match with 4+ artys in team is camp hard. True heavy killer should be TDs, I bet that T95 with Object can control heavies and not frustrating them with "god of hand" even if they're shooting from bushes cause you have more areas obscured from their fire.
    So limit will be fine, but for current arty firepower I would nerf range also.

  48. I voted that artillery should be limited, cause I figured voting that artillery is overpowered would not accomplish anything.

    However I do think artillery is overpowered as well, they do too much damage.

    I remember back in beta before Tier 7 artillery got released they explained that the reason Tier 6 arty was so powerful was cause they were balanced to fight top tier tanks and they would be nerfed when higher tier arty was added.

    ...and so they were, however not in the way expected. I figured they would lower damage for tier 6 artillery but no, they just reduced their accuracy and perhaps rate of fire (don't remember anymore). Meanwhile tier 7 and 8 got even more absurd damage or faster rate of fire.

    Artillery hit too hard, kill too many crew members/modules etc, that's the problem. Their damage should be lowered and so should the radius of the splash damage. Then their accuracy and ROF can be buffed to compensate.

    Me, as many others, have voted for "Limiting...", but i and many others have further GENERAL issues with HIGH-Tier-Artys especially:
    1. We think, they are OP, especially the SPLAH-DAMAGE (the splash-damage itsself and the radius of splash aswell), making it too EASY to hit everything, destroying Light Tanks by a near miss, crippling Mediums to death and even HT dont find many obstacles big enough to be completly safe...
    2. Many people dont also like the current way, SPGs are introduced in game !! Instead ob being a high-precise sniper, many of us would like to see it more in a rapid-firing aerial bombarding supporting role !! But we dont believe this concept would get ever implemented...

    So pls, DONT interpret this poll like 84 % having no issues with Arty itsself... its more like only 22% having no issues with Artys, the rest have MANY issues, but your poll had allowed only ONE choice...

    So many of my fellows think:

    - LIMIT splash-DAMAGE and-RADIUS of High-Tier-Artys

    - LIMIT the amount of High-Tier-Artys per side to a max of TWO or THREE Artys, if lower Tiers are involved

    THREE High-Tier-Artys are dominating the battlefield as much as 6 or 7 do...

  50. I play World of tanks cause there are no other good games out atm. I'm bored of WoW and diablo 3, torchlight 2 etc are still months away. Once some good online games are released I'm done with World of Tanks. It's getting boring playing tank death match over and over again.

    I think arty is a good aspect of the game, however, when I'm in my T34 (1900 hp) and there are five tier 8&9 arty (1700-2500 avg damage) on each team it is insane then through in some faster firing lower tier and you are dead before you have a chance to do anything about it. I know they have a longer reload time, but when they do near +75% damage in a single hit and usually track the tank in the same hit, you have 2-3 more shells coming in from the others now or there are a few snipers set up just waiting for the opportunity. I have seen and had this happen to me far too often especially on Malinovka and El Halluf.

    I am all for regulating arty in a number vs tier scheme and perhaps even removing them from some maps.

  54. I have no probs with arty. Like stated before one has improvise and addept ingame. Thats the exciting point in the game. It happened to me several times that arty had a pick on me and blew me to pieces. Next time better (its just a (marvelous) game)!

  59. Overlord, can you give us some informations about the reintroduction of the tracers? I can´t hardly understand what the problem could be. When they were deactivated it was scheduled to activate them with the next patch (it was 6.4 I guess) or a hotfix. As so many people (~300) work on WoT I can´t understand why it takes so long, even it hasn´t a great priority.

  60. For me current arty is good but limitation on arties per battle would be even better.

    However a more interesting concept for arty would be this:
    Increase rate of fire and ammo capacity significantly .
    Make arty very inaccurate.
    After each shot on the same target accuracy would increase , unless target is in site range then accuracy would be good from the start.
    This would be a bit more realistic as there does exist arty ranging .
    It would also make the game more fun as you would see explosions all around you getting closer and close as the arty zeroes in.

I spend lot of money in this, but now i play the game only when CW is comming up at evning. You guys leading this game in a very very wrong direction, and you take my mood from the game. Its not worthing my time anymore.....

  65. Reintroducing tracers = insta-dead arty + hacks

    Reducing arty accuracy = arty becomes worthless

    Limit arty to 2 or 3 = heavies strongly dominate the game.

    Remove/reduce splash damage = arty bounces - team calls arty players noobs, nobody plays arty

    This isn't about realism its about game play.
    This game is VERY much rock/paper/scissors/lizard/spock.

    Everyone wants what they play to win most of the time - currently most of the higher tiers are heavies.

    - what's the easiest thing to use in the game = heavies
    -what players have the most problem with arty = heavy plaers...because arty is the ONLY 1 to 1 heavy counter.

    Most med's have to wolf pack, lights can't kill heavies. Only other heavies and arty can kill heavies, and everything can kill arty!

    I think this works fine.

    Please don't hard cap arty at 2 or 3 unless you hard cap heavies - that WILL hurt the game...but I have a feeling the devs know that!

    If you are able to play this game it is of course possible to kill a heavy tank with an medium tank.
    I can give you many excamples that 2 or 3 SPGs are enough that heavys did not dominate anything.

    arty is clearly op at high tier matches and heavies are very easy to kill unless your a 12 year old dumbass in t29 trying to 1v1 an is-4 and shooting right at the frontal armor

    also, speaking as both a heavy and arty player so there is no bias to this, even in an Object 212 I find it too easy to kill anything

    -reduce damage
    -reduce splash range
    -reduce splash damage
    -limit arty to 2 per side (3 for lower tiers)
    -release more "town" maps

  75. This whole problem started after traces had been switched off. How many times we have heard that creating new traces systems is Wargaming priority? For a few months you are clearly aware of arty problem , but nothing has been done so far. There seems to be time to fix gun mantles look ( LOL & WTF?? ), but fundamental element of this game has been broken for so long and no wonder that 63% of players would like to see some sort of limit for arty. A few new light tanks may help, but won't fix this problem completely. Fix the tracers system and arty issue will be resolved. In all of these recent patches we see only bloody bodging.

  76. I can only assume the nay-sayers only know how to play heavies!

    Heavies are the most forgiving tank type in the game.

    Arty is the ONLY thing that heavies have to concerned about.

    Yes meds CAN kill heavies. But tank for tank same tier - that heavy probably has the advantage. Most maps allow heavies to funnel everything to their front armour. Heavy players whine because arty is the ONLY thing that gets around this EASILY, and even that is VERY map dependent!

    Arty isn't even close to being OP.
    Most players just seem to misunderstand the roll of arty. Arty is support - and unlike heavies, arty can't win the game on their own. So if arty is reliant on OTHER TEAM MEMBERS, how does that make them OP for game play? Because they have a big gun? Um, that's ALL that they are = a big gun. You nerf the big gun - no more arty. The game become WORLD OF HEAVY TANKS.

  77. I chose other, and here's why:
    I would have checked all the options before, but not anymore. As you devs didn't get your priorities right, and went off expanding into 2 other IPs, you left us rot here with 1 game mode for a year. This is ridiculous.

    Next up is that you guys don't listen to your player base nearly as much as you should. Are you making a game for yourselves, or for others? Then listen to the people. Just like this arty thing. This has been going on now since the game was released basically, and it's never been addressed, and your tweaks were non-sense. I think it's pretty evident that until you can come up with a proper way to make arty work you need to limit the number of them to 2-3 max (2 Tier 7-8).

    Your elementary manner of "balancing" is ridiculous, with W/L% and such. What's even better is that for example the JTiger has been on the losing end of the stick since day one and you haven't done anything besides pointless "fixes" that accomplished nothing, in which you still didn't follow up on.

    Biased. You guys are biased. Just come out and admit it already. Like the JTiger shows along with the IS-4 getting a free ride on the OP-train now since launch without balancing nerfs, we know you're biased period.

    Camo system. Get rid of it. It's what is most likely causing all the "disappearing tanks" non-sense. But you won't get rid of it, and we all know why. The bias. Because then russian tanks would lose another edge they have (inflated camo ratings) over the high tier US and German tanks.

    So yeah, my "Other" is actually; I used to love the game until I realized all these issues. Now I'm fed up with it, and don't give you guys any more money until you guys respect us and take the consumer seriously. And guess what, if this game isn't fixed, then I won't be putting money into your other games neither. So that's nearly $300 lost right there, per game.

    Oh, and I almost forgot. That "Pre-order" fiasco. BS. You really shown us your true colors there. If this post is deleted like my others that mentioned about this "pre-order" stuff, I'm going to complain to Gamestop and other retailers about what you did, thus next time they won't give you guys any shelf space at all.

  80. I did not insult anybody and you can read my ingame name (eu) at beginning of my post.
    I am sure that arty at its own can win a game.
    It is true that arty use other team mates, but only for spoting enemy tanks.
    I give an excample:

    I'm a lot time player, have been playing since close beta testing. And I bought lot of pre when release too. For the last 2months I was busy and didn't play any. I just came back in the last few days and I was so disapointed. You release the E100, which has same gun and T30, but better amored and even more HP. Now my T30 is useless and and my clan all pick E100 instead of T30.

    I wonder wth you guys thinking. You can't balance the whole tech trees but just simple few tier 10 and you f* it up!

    I feel I wasted my money in this game and very disapointed. WOP come out and I may play for the fun of it, but you can count on me when I say I will not waste a dime like i did with this f*ing game.

  83. I'm a bit of a tank freak (buff??), a fan (fun?) of MMOs and I love this game as well as I like to play it to relax after work (also video game QA ;)

    BTW, for constructive feedback it is better to actually read longer player opinions than to rely on polls, but still, it is really awesome you publish every poll results and have some really bold polls, like the Komarin one on EU.

    I am personally fine with 3 arties per team, if only I could see by the tracers from which side are they shelling me. Different playstyles for games with and without arty give some nice diversity.

  84. Funny how mostly SPG players get mad about it. And thats the 20% of the poll votes that says theres nothing wrong with it. And to Mr.Azaghul, for the HT hunting there is TD's and other HT's and your precius SPG's should be mostly countering other arty and providing suport fire, not the longrange tankbuster. Especialy when theres 10x T6+ SPG's in game and if theyre fags with gold HE ammo.

    BTW wheres the tracers?! Without them theres no reason to buy obj.212 as counter arty... Favorite discipline of many players :)

    Besides the artillery crap isnt the only problem...the "cooked" balance that you have (so to keep random statistics 50-50) is the biggest online "trick" (arent laws for these maybe?) i have ever seen.

  86. Arty definitely needs to be addressed. For the record, I have over 7500 battles, play every branch (many to their maximum tier) in the tech trees including arty. I am not bragging, just stating I have a lot of WOT experience.

    Few things to say...

    To those that say they rarely see more than 3-4 arty in a game, I'm not sure what game you play, because I see it frequently during my gaming sessions every single day(I put an inordinate amount of my time into this game).

    To those that say you need to adapt to a lot of arty I say BS. Sometimes you just can't camp in a bush all game. Sometimes the enemy is pushing and you HAVE to get in the fight knowing your gonna be exposed to a lot of arty fire. If your tier 9 or 10 that means you get to die first and usually right away.

    As an arty player I hate having a lot on each team, because when a tank gets tracked and 5 arty fire at it, it reduces my chance for the kill, and to gain XP. More hits for me = more XP, more arty = less hits since everything is killed fast. So in the end 7 arty on a team hurts my xp/cred gains AS an arty. Plus you have less tanks out in the field fighting, which leaves gaps in defenses and means less targets for me to shoot at as arty(games feel sluggish and slow).

    To those that said it would become world of heavy tanks. It already is! Most tanks I see are HT's as they are the main battle tanks. TD's are supposed to be the main counter to HT's and work to great effect, not to mention of course other HT's and wolfpacks of MT's.

    I am an arty player and I think there needs to be a limit and perhaps a nerf, though we need to bring back tracers and try it out before a nerf. For now at least a limit would be great as 2-3 per game is honestly a perfect number.

    my personel opinion, maby offcard arty strike over an area is an idea, ore els atleast limit it to 2 units a team. at now in lowtier battles its 1 shotted by arty all the time, and in higher tiers the class 7/8 does massive damage, especialy with 5+ of those in one team! i think its a failure to add tier 8 arty to the game.

  91. arty are bigest bullshit in this game,they camp in base alwais insible and one shoting all even if they miss,splash is enouth.Just wait after you spot red dot on minimap and after right click+left click=instant frag(s).
    And its not all they shot fast even like heavy tank on some tear check objeck somethink with T30.
    And like bonus they oneshot you but you need more then 2 hit too kill them.

    Arty need reduce damage,splash,rof,aculary and limit 2per team max+return tracer or game will be still unplayeble,comom even if you are medium you have no change if they shot too you or 3-4meter they kill you if they shot around 10m away from you you survive but you are fucked,track damaged,lost modules and crew

    BRING BACK TRACERS !

    once arty have to worry about counter battery again - esp with the splash radius of the new Tier 7 and 8 arty they will not be as much of an issue any more


    Counter battery was the historical soloution to arty issues and will be the best one in game as well.


    And as always i send my usual salute to the anonymous cowards that flame and rage but cannot be bothered to tell us who they are - nice troll - go bother someone who cares :)

    Only reason why 22% has NP with it - because at least fifth of the players are artillery. And only reason why only 15% responded that its OP or bad design, because it didn't include solution (as limiting they numbers).

    Artillery is OP and its whole concept is wrong. Why? Because its shooting behind obstacles, doing massive damage every shot and shooting across whole map and on many maps, there is absolutely no defense against them! The way how you balanced them - low hp - is useless, if you cannot kill it, because is hidden on the other side of the map!

    If anything, it should do same damage as any average tank on its tier. And it would be still overpowered since normal tanks cannot shoot through walls.

  99. Hello, I was vote for OP, so I'm minority:D
    But my vote was not so "exact". IMHO arty is not OP, but have far too much info from battle field.
    Eg. if arty can't see enemy all info about them (in game) is based on radio communication. So why playing arty I can see not only position of enemy, but exact presentation of hull or even a turret rotation! Still, imho, arty should see only a type icon and additional updated lets say in 2-3 sec interval (as radio can truly do). This should properly balance arty role in game (assuming limited ammount of ammo). Off course its true only when arty crew can't see enemy.

    The fact that there are still 5 arty left on each team and no tanks is blatant proof that there is a problem. Anyone who says there isn't a problem is probably someone who predominantly plays arty. I play one arty from each country and one TD from each country but the rest of my garage is filled with standard tanks. I know what it is like to play arty and I also know what it is like to play regular tanks and feel as though you have to camp in one of two safe places on any given map because you fear that 5 one-shot-one-kill rounds might drop out of the sky if you even so much as peek around the corner.

    Arty numbers are a problem right now and that aspect of the game needs to be regulated by putting limits on the number of arty or a weight limit for arty in the matchmaking algorithm...simple as that.

  101. The poll was too early. Tier 5 Scouts will be out tomorrow and will change everything.

    I always hope to get in a came with many arties with my leopard, but it never really happens. I am getting the feeling that u have limited the numbers of arty if a scout platoon is in the match. Or it could be just bad luck. ;)

    The only reason I play a scout ist to fuck arty up. They annoy me as hell.
    To all the other players: If u really hate arty: Start playing scouts.

    The only reason I play arty my self is to troll. seriously. I hate arty so much that I decided to become one of them myself. To annoy others.

    PS: People are talking a lot of nonsense here. There is no need to limit arty to 2, or 3. Five should be the maximum. That would still be annoying as hell but somehow playable.

  102. People on here are generally failing the logic test.

    If they are complaining of too many arty (and according to this poll, they are) then that's only because they are failing to think logically.

    If there is a battle with 5 arty per side then the odds of each players being singled out by arty fire is huge. Therefor players quickly come to hate arty in large numbers.
    If however they have a battle with just one arty per side then the odds that the arty will impact them is very low.

    But the fact remains that arty is still ruining someone else's fun.

    Fact, arty are OP, the difference in response between the 80% who don't think its ok is in the number of games arty has singled them out.

    Fix arty by changing its fundamental ability and not by restricting it. Arty is OP and broken and worse of all, fun wreckers in its current form.

    I both agree and disagree with your points about arty; certain heavies can be forgiving in certain situations, but they must rely on the team just as much as any other element. I dont think arty is op, but there does need to be some kind of matchmaking check put in place to limit the matches where 4-5 high tier arty can play 'the god of war', as a certain dictator once said.

    Also kudos to you for putting your player name out there. Ive noticed a lot of stat elitism going on lately that is definitely hurting the community, since it devalues players and their opinions based on their stats. Sure, stats will give you a general picture of a players performance, but theres no point in using that as an argument as to why YOUR argument is right. If you have time to point out how someone needs to 'L2P', you have time to properly illustrate a counter argument. Seriously, were not all children.

  107. I think the biggest impact on todays arty game- and teamplay are missing tracers. I liked playing my Hummel and trying to counter the enemy arty, while they were trying the same. It was like a sharpshooter batlle, waiting for the mistae of the error. And because 50% were succesful, arty not many played it or were careful, when revealing there position

    When i now play with my Hummel I just drive into a nice spot and lay down my fire on the enemy, not moving, because most maps let me shoot everywhere I want. Thats just boring ...

    So the first step to improve gameplay with and against arty is to reintroduce tracer (with cheatprotection of course) and let it run for a couple of weeks (or just on the testservers) and ask the community how it works. (reintroduce tracers for all tanks of course)

    If theres still a lot arty and most of the community is complaining about, the second step would be to set a limitation, because even with tracer 7 high-tier-artys kill nearly everything.

  110. Other Reason: I don't even know why I play anymore. My cousin got me on this game promising that we'd play often, but more often then not I'm playing by myself. I'm stuck at tier 8 because it takes forever to gain the money to get to Tier 9. And I don't want to get gold because I don't like the way you guys run the game enough to contribute to your paycheck. So, as to the reason I play? I guess right now the only reason I play is to keep in touch with the few friends I made in-game.

    people, do u know how much u have to wait to get in a battle with a tier 7 spg? too much
    and with a tier 8 spg, if im lucky i get 10 seconds wait, but the rule is no less than 3 minutes of wait, and regular i find myself with the 5 minutes dead wait. (and i didnt even consider if im with platoon, that will make it worst. then a tier 7/8 SPG shots like 10 shots per game (as they do) as u know lots of shots will be miss, because tank moves, or because it get misdirected to a rock or wall or roof of something that was at the side of the aim circle, then u r a tier 7/8 SPG and your fail team let 1 t54 come to u then u r dead at the minute 2 of the battle, then wait the battle to end so u again pay repair bil with almost no played time u try to join another battle, then again a maybe 2 / 3 / 4 minute wait to play , then u got luck your team dont let the meds kill u, but your team best heavy tanks hide behind the arty whole game, then come the enemy tanks and spot u, enemy arty kill u, then u need to pay again 25k credits bill just for begin dumb to try to play with arty, arty is OP? no, a good team that make their arty do their job is the OP, good spoters, good defence from spoters, and patient if u know how to use arty maybe u will win, but maybe if u get destoyed even if u won u lose 10k/15k credits.

    BTW im looking foward to the medal that is give 4 destroying 5 or more artys in a single battle

  116. It's funny how people thing they can bend the poll around their opinion, twist it ab bit and then is says 99% are against spg's at all. ...or get insulting on those who voted for artys.
    What a mature culture of comments.

    I personally don't think they are op. Plenty of maps out there where you can take cover from spg's plus plenty of shots just miss by default hiting the absolut outer part of the aiming circle.
    IF there is a problem with artys it's the general matchmaking, but then again you have this problem with other tanks aswell.

    I more and more get the impression that spg's will allways hate the problem of "haters are going to hate". They are the greates threat for all those heavydrivers out there whom without artys would become invincible... or at least hoping they'd do.

    1. The game needs variation. Having the same kind of setup every game will in a very short period of time make battle very similar.

    2. 0 arty is more broken then 5 per team.

    what is interresrting in this game is to fight and move.

    With so much arty (3 or more per side) you just have to hide the best as you can or die fast very fast.
    Arty kill tank that's a good thing but it also kill the fun of the game.
    2 Arty max would be a good think you must take care of what you do but if you show yourself you will have a chance to survive mùore than 10 seconde.
    Arty yes but in a reasonnable number!!!

    I'd also like to see a change in the way that the SPGs "scale up" into tier 6 and beyond, so that they're erratic all-or-nothing doomtrolls by the time they hit tier 8. Tier 5 and below, they seem fine.

  130. The point is becoming moot. Due to aiming mechanics changes in the last patch, the problem of too many arti is being taken care of. Track the number and level of the arti players in all your battles over the next couple days, I think you will find that there are already fewer arti per game. No one wants to play a tank that only gets to take 3 or 4 fully aimed shots in a game.
