They tried to make the 252 the replacement for the Is-4 but its not powerfull enough. But since it's already finished it comes out a premium tank. I don't see what's wrong with that.
The new replacement for the IS-4 is the T-10 (also known as Is-8) Form the real world specs it appears to be a little weaker than the Is-4, but we'll see about that.

You guys constantly change plans. What if people have been waiting for that Obj. 252 and stuck to IS-3 and now it is changed by T-10 which is not as favourable as Obj. 252? And what's point having two tier 8 premium heavys, couldn't another be tier 9 instead?
I don't understand why people complain so much. I've got 3000 or so battles, haven't touched Russian tanks, and have never felt the Russian tanks were overpowered. Maybe you guys/girls should learn how to play and quit raging because you got killed by a Russian tank.

Completely stupid statements. Most people who buy these higher tier premium tanks are people who have quite a few battles under their belt. It's ridiculous that you think a brand new player could buy this tank and compete with legitimate tier 8+ players. You are just mad, and I am sorry you can't afford one. And no, I don't own a Lowe/KV5 nor will I purchase this, only because they aren't tanks that appeal to me.

t-10, from wikipedia, is another name for is-10, and it will be at tier 9? is-4 will be tier 10 and is-6 tier 8, isnt it a bit weird? shouldnt the is4 be least advanced? and why isnt is7 tier 9 and is-10/t-10 at tier 10. this could also solve that some players call is7 weakest tier 10.
I do agree that this will throw a stick in peoples plans. I really think their should be a respec option so we can redistribute our XP. I think $20 worth of gold for this would be a fair price and would keep it from being abused.
I think, this IS-6 would be a better than Löwe but still it make balance somenthing else. I have being played this when it was closen beta and when dev's always put new premium in this game, it diffe gaming balance. But to Löwe and KV-5 etc.. are only moneymakers, and there are tanks who makes easily money. many people think that only who have a money buy it and doesnt know how use it. Like always it is only one tank with it good and bad sides, but always team will make it better or worse.
Why couldn't this or T-10 be the tier 10? Is-4 just doesn't match up for tier 10 visually or namely. I would guess that an IS-6 would be better than IS-4 and IS-10 to be better than IS-7. Why not put object 271 as tier 10? Would be much cooler and not resemble the rest of the heavies too much.

Aaaaaaaaand? T-10 is a direct ancestor of IS-3, properly balanced will make and value addition to soviet tech tree (yup i don't like idea of Is-4 and object 252. Despite that in game i"m riding german armor mostly i'm a big fan of is3-t-10 family i like it more than soviet MBTs).
It actually makes sense. As americans have a bit mash with their names / tiers (T30 is much more powerfull than T32 for example), the russian tanks have the same reason for it:
In real world, the tanks were developed with this mash in names. IS-4 was developed simultaneously with IS-3 and it was another class of tank (something like E-75 and E-100 classes in germany). IS-7 was the same class of tank (tonnage) as IS-4. IS-10 (T-10) was more like IS-3 class. So it all makes sense when you look at it in historical angle.
But of course, this is only a game and there has to be some compromises.
I personally dont know how russian tanks are OP, since everyone who says they are OP, never and I mean never says in which way exactly. I know for a fact that IS-7 is much less value in battle than Maus, for example. And as for timeline issue, maybe russians just werent good enough during the war to produce equivalent to german masterpieces, so the developers have to go post-war to get equal "power".
And the american T29, for example, is the best tier 7 I have ever played, IS is pile of crap compared to that. One just have to know how to play with the exact type of tank he is driving, otherwise he is just moving target waiting to get pissed. And that kind of players mostly tend to say russians are OP, because they dont know how to play the game.

Wow, history repeating itself... Another one that is similar to Lowe?!? If you buy it, after few months you can expect them to say that in fact Lowe is much better and costs 24000 gold from now on (you can still buy it for 12500 for 7 days), and yours is working as intended although it has huge weak spots you wasn't aware of when buying, and gun can not penetrate anything from any distance...

It's easy - better gun on same tier sometimes with better mobility and armor. For example: 1) KW with 107 mm - gun should be kicked higher and KW should get gun from T-28(!) - 120 pen and 160 dmg is enough for that tier (and of course drop that 85mm fom T-28). 2) T54 in current armor and mobility - with so powerful armor it should got nerfed mobility, decreased turret traverse ratio and decreased reverse speed. 3) IS 4 with S30 gun - so much penetrating value is too high for T9 heavies (246 and 248 compared to 260 and same damage). 4) ISU152 with BL10 gun - too much damage too high penetration 5)OB 704 with current ROF on BL10 6)SU 85 with 107 non russian 7)Leopard on low tiers - excellent armor 8)H38 on low tiers 8)T29 with 105 - it should be kicked to T8 and T32 should take its place 9) artillery in general - drop damage about 50% increase ROF about 20-30%.
The Russian players were crying that their piece of shit kw5 German is worse than Lowe ... And we have another tank in the fifties .. hahahhahaha

And, how is that helping KV-5 owners, Russian or others? You think they will have the option to exchange KV-5 for this new one free of charge? I am afraid we will have to keep junk in the garage and fork out 12500 gold for this new one. But not me, cause I spent 150 Euros on this game before Lowe/Kv-5 debacle and then promised not a cent more.
1) KV isnt OP because its slow in every thinkable way (driving slowly, turret is slow, aiming is slow). I have MUCH better statistics on PzIV. About 30% better. So PzIV is more OP than KV, if anything. 2) I have also T-54 and its pile of crap, actually. It may be the best IX medium to dodge bullets, but it has least powerfull gun (not accounting only damage, but overall). I wouldnt say that any of tier IX mediums are better, but T-54 certainly isnt OP (singificantly better) in any way. 3) IS-4 has the least accurate gun, has least HP and having IS-7 gun isnt anything special, since 4502 has Maus gun... you are just choosing one exact better spec than the other has, but you dont mention other specs, which are worse than the other has. I am not saying IS-4 is in whole worse than others, but same as I said with T-54 applies. Its not significantly better in any way (other tanks needs to be played differently, of course) 4) Again, you are pointing out single spec. For a tier 8, it is hugely under-armored and it has by huge margin the least HPs. It is the weakest of TDs on that tier and the gun is only to compensate it. 5) The same applies as for ISU-152 6) Dont know what you are talking about 7) Its german tank and its light tank (has no use actually, same as A-20) 8) What is H38? T29 is by far the best tier 7 tank. If anything is OP, that its this. But I dont think it is tier 8 good. It would need some extra HPs for that (and T29 with more HPs is T32) 9) Did you ever play arty? Its not that easy, the bullet flies about 5s if you are shooting across the map. Do you know what a tank is capable of doing in 5 seconds? A lot, trust me.
1) Is OP, great pen, great dmg (on tier 5!) and very good ROF in city maps or with team mates providing good view on battlefield its almost unbeatable. And yup, Panzer IV with long 7,5 is slightly OP - with removal of 107 from KW should goes a removal of 7,5/70 from Panzer IV (I think devs put it on that tank only to compensate KWs excellent gun). 2)And u think that dodging and flying trugh map is not enough? T54 is an excellent arty hunter, platoon of t54s is unstoppable doing it, P2 has no match to it in melee. Turret from Panzer IV dont help stop bullets from weaker gun (cause t54 not need better gun to reliably penetrate frontal armor of P2, try doing same to T54 - yupbounce from insane turret armor). In Pick a boo fight better mobility makes it superior to counterparts. 3)Whait what? Do u really think that .02 in accuracy means that it recompensate 15 mm of penetration? And here applies same - is4 relaibly penetrates counterparts (hull armor of T34) when they only bounce from frontal armor (0.33 accuracy didn't help to hit hatch properly). 4) Nope - it's got also very good camo and decent mobility and gun makes it superior to counterparts. BL9s of course needs more pen (maybe some new gun with 240 mm of pen) but putting there best gun in game is too much. 5) Frontal armor (excluding very small bar on lower part) cannot be penetrated by long 8,8 so nope, object got very good armor (of course worse by a miles than T95 but slightly worse than this on Jagdtiger). Along with better mobility and better camo makes it a superior to Jagdtiger for sure. 6) Again - excellent pen, excellent damage and nice ROF. Stug (if surives first shot) got no chances with TD with the best camo in the game which can almost oneshooted everything on its tier (from first shot it takes 8 seconds to kill everything on tier 6 - yup pretty OP for me). 7) Didn't notice "nonrussian tanks"? Wy better than russian counterpart I hope devs make new T4 scout equal to it. 8) Premium Hotchkiss tank from tier 2 - very good armor and very good gun, personally i don't know person with killing ratio less than 3 tanks per battle in it. 9) Of course - HP should be buffed. T32 stays apart from T29-T30-T34 family - it got better hull armor and turret from Pershing (in fact whole Txx family comes from it). Now u can smply nerf HP on it and mount two turets from Pershing together with 90 mm guns. 10) Yes I played arty, I've got 250 matches after release and I've far better killing ratio in arty than in tanks (check han_solo_79 in game). I think that will be good if arty should be able to kill own tier in 2-3 shots (not that ridiculous oneshooting Panzer IV by Hummel) - being vulnerable for tanks fire is a price for benefit of hitting targets trough whole map.

T32 got one wheel less than T29-T30, but got better frontal armor. Also only 90mm guns was mounted on it. So better turret armor can compensate loss of better hull armor. On the other hand, they can take switch turrets between T29-T32. I dunno, I like idea of T32 on tier 7 cause guns configuration fits it well.

If you read carefuly you can find lines about OP german and american tanks. Yes I think that so we called OP exist in every nation tree. And of course we can dispute about meaning of some words like slightly OP, OP or superior but I enlisted THINGS which I belive make some tanks OP (or slightly better or superior or what you want to pull instead of). You can agree with me that good armor and excellent gun (remember same gun exist on T8 premium but of course should be put on tier 6 or tier 7 max) make KW OP or try convince me that tank is UP. You got experience and you can share it with me. Which stats make T54 superior or worse than counterparts and how is it look in battle? Or why BL10 should be keep on ISU152? Or why T29 should be stretched to tier8 or leave it as it is? DISCUSS. No "But think whatever you want, luckily, noone can force your opinion to be different (yet, sadly)." would change my mind cause I'm scientist and I'm considering pure facts (as example comparing penetration values for all tanks, of course not win ratio cause it team and palyer dependent with small affect of one tank) not feeling. So, prove me that I'm wrong.
First of all, I love this game. I have done the grind up to the IS-4 and T-44 and will soon have the IS-7 and the T-54. I am also grinding the German heavy and medium lines and hope to have an E-100, VK4502 Ausf(A), and an E-50 no later than one month after the 6.6 patch comes out. That being said, I have some concerns that have arisen regarding the tech trees.
It seems that the developers do not have a clear vision of the final tech trees. There is a revised tech tree available online for everyone to use to calculate which path they need to take through the tree in order to get to the tanks they desire. Unfortunately, based on this change in the Obj. 252, it seems that we cannot count on the revised tree to plan our grind through the game.
It takes hours (days) of gaming to earn the XP and credits to get a higher tier tank, so it would be really nice if the developers would finalize the tech tree and publish it so that we can all plan our path through the tree. What are the chances of this happening?
Honestly, sometimes it feels like you guys have a vision of the final structure of the game and sometimes I feel like you are making it up as you go. Do you have a response you would like to share with us?
I sort of agree that revising the tech tree a lot can be annoying. But: first of all they usually tell us WAY ahead of time what the changes will be, so everyone should be able to get the tanks they're gunning for before any changes mean they'll have to abandon the line they started and go for another tank to get the one they're after. Second is the fact that in this change nothing gets moved around, it's just a tier 9 tank gets tossed out, turned into a tier 8 premium, and a new tank is put into that tier 9 spot. It'll still lead to the same tier 10 tank.
well i remember that it was planned to introduce object 252 as tier 9 russian heavy tank in the second part of russian heavy tank tree and as gift to those who have already an is4 tank in garage. means that now all who have is4 in garage get an is4 in new status and thats it ? and when object 252 gets tier 8 premium, which tank will replace it as planned tier 9 russian heavy tank ? much questions. and no answer in sight...
Would like to suggest that instead of the new French tree comimg next that the Dev's think about giving us the Russian and American tree's first.It will be nice to explore a new tree but a lot of time an effort has gone into what we have now, just seem's more reasonable to sort out the tree's we have before a new one. Yeahh we need more and more tanks from 1950s/1960s to fight against tanks from 1943/1944 they have turret which even on this date 1943/44 germans know its not acceptable turret for these tanks GF
heh, a 122mm will not perform similar to Lowe at all, unless it gets a pen boost, 175 avg is rather poor at tier 8 to deal with higher stuff, especially coupled with the awesome accuracy the non BL9 122s have.
Also why do people act like they can *only* play either german or US or russian tanks? If you think its better than a Lowe or whatever, you are free to buy one. Why not try playing those OP russian tanks if you think they are so much better?
Or are you afraid that you'll end up doing the same in them as your current tanks thus proving you were wrong?
Overlord in revised tech trees: IS-4 will be substituted for Object 252.
Players who have an IS-4 in their garage at the time of the revision will get an IS-4 in its new status with old crew, plus they will also get an Object 252 with 100% crew with an extra garage slot. Undistributed experience will remain on Object 252, however can be transferred to a new IS-4 on demand.
Now is4 owners only get new IS4 ??? not IS4+Object 252?

This is not new, read goharu guys. If I remember correctly its gun will be the 122mm D-30, not the D-25T.

IS-10 (T-10) was more like IS-3 class. So it all makes sense when you look at it in historical angle.
But of course, this is only a game and there has to be some compromises.
I personally dont know how russian tanks are OP, since everyone who says they are OP, never and I mean never says in which way exactly. I know for a fact that IS-7 is much less value in battle than Maus, for example. And as for timeline issue, maybe russians just werent good enough during the war to produce equivalent to german masterpieces, so the developers have to go post-war to get equal "power".

And the american T29, for example, is the best tier 7 I have ever played, IS is pile of crap compared to that. One just have to know how to play with the exact type of tank he is driving, otherwise he is just moving target waiting to get pissed. And that kind of players mostly tend to say russians are OP, because they dont know how to play the game.

If you buy it, after few months you can expect them to say that in fact Lowe is much better and costs 24000 gold from now on (you can still buy it for 12500 for 7 days), and yours is working as intended although it has huge weak spots you wasn't aware of when buying, and gun can not penetrate anything from any distance...

ReplyDeleteIt's easy - better gun on same tier sometimes with better mobility and armor. For example:
1) KW with 107 mm - gun should be kicked higher and KW should get gun from T-28(!) - 120 pen and 160 dmg is enough for that tier (and of course drop that 85mm fom T-28).
2) T54 in current armor and mobility - with so powerful armor it should got nerfed mobility, decreased turret traverse ratio and decreased reverse speed.
3) IS 4 with S30 gun - so much penetrating value is too high for T9 heavies (246 and 248 compared to 260 and same damage).
4) ISU152 with BL10 gun - too much damage too high penetration
5)OB 704 with current ROF on BL10
6)SU 85 with 107
non russian
7)Leopard on low tiers - excellent armor
8)H38 on low tiers
8)T29 with 105 - it should be kicked to T8 and T32 should take its place
9) artillery in general - drop damage about 50% increase ROF about 20-30%.

Yes this is most expensive game..but if you get tired - you can always sell the account and recover at least part of the money.

ReplyDelete1) KV isnt OP because its slow in every thinkable way (driving slowly, turret is slow, aiming is slow). I have MUCH better statistics on PzIV. About 30% better. So PzIV is more OP than KV, if anything.
2) I have also T-54 and its pile of crap, actually. It may be the best IX medium to dodge bullets, but it has least powerfull gun (not accounting only damage, but overall). I wouldnt say that any of tier IX mediums are better, but T-54 certainly isnt OP (singificantly better) in any way.
3) IS-4 has the least accurate gun, has least HP and having IS-7 gun isnt anything special, since 4502 has Maus gun... you are just choosing one exact better spec than the other has, but you dont mention other specs, which are worse than the other has. I am not saying IS-4 is in whole worse than others, but same as I said with T-54 applies. Its not significantly better in any way (other tanks needs to be played differently, of course)
4) Again, you are pointing out single spec. For a tier 8, it is hugely under-armored and it has by huge margin the least HPs. It is the weakest of TDs on that tier and the gun is only to compensate it.
5) The same applies as for ISU-152
6) Dont know what you are talking about
7) Its german tank and its light tank (has no use actually, same as A-20)

T29 is by far the best tier 7 tank. If anything is OP, that its this. But I dont think it is tier 8 good. It would need some extra HPs for that (and T29 with more HPs is T32)
9) Did you ever play arty? Its not that easy, the bullet flies about 5s if you are shooting across the map. Do you know what a tank is capable of doing in 5 seconds? A lot, trust me.

ReplyDelete1) Is OP, great pen, great dmg (on tier 5!) and very good ROF in city maps or with team mates providing good view on battlefield its almost unbeatable. And yup, Panzer IV with long 7,5 is slightly OP - with removal of 107 from KW should goes a removal of 7,5/70 from Panzer IV (I think devs put it on that tank only to compensate KWs excellent gun).
2)And u think that dodging and flying trugh map is not enough? T54 is an excellent arty hunter, platoon of t54s is unstoppable doing it, P2 has no match to it in melee. Turret from Panzer IV dont help stop bullets from weaker gun (cause t54 not need better gun to reliably penetrate frontal armor of P2, try doing same to T54 - yupbounce from insane turret armor). In Pick a boo fight better mobility makes it superior to counterparts.
3)Whait what? Do u really think that .02 in accuracy means that it recompensate 15 mm of penetration? And here applies same - is4 relaibly penetrates counterparts (hull armor of T34) when they only bounce from frontal armor (0.33 accuracy didn't help to hit hatch properly).
4) Nope - it's got also very good camo and decent mobility and gun makes it superior to counterparts. BL9s of course needs more pen (maybe some new gun with 240 mm of pen) but putting there best gun in game is too much.
5) Frontal armor (excluding very small bar on lower part) cannot be penetrated by long 8,8 so nope, object got very good armor (of course worse by a miles than T95 but slightly worse than this on Jagdtiger). Along with better mobility and better camo makes it a superior to Jagdtiger for sure.
6) Again - excellent pen, excellent damage and nice ROF. Stug (if surives first shot) got no chances with TD with the best camo in the game which can almost oneshooted everything on its tier (from first shot it takes 8 seconds to kill everything on tier 6 - yup pretty OP for me).
7) Didn't notice "nonrussian tanks"? Wy better than russian counterpart I hope devs make new T4 scout equal to it.
8) Premium Hotchkiss tank from tier 2 - very good armor and very good gun, personally i don't know person with killing ratio less than 3 tanks per battle in it.
9) Of course - HP should be buffed. T32 stays apart from T29-T30-T34 family - it got better hull armor and turret from Pershing (in fact whole Txx family comes from it). Now u can smply nerf HP on it and mount two turets from Pershing together with 90 mm guns.
10) Yes I played arty, I've got 250 matches after release and I've far better killing ratio in arty than in tanks (check han_solo_79 in game). I think that will be good if arty should be able to kill own tier in 2-3 shots (not that ridiculous oneshooting Panzer IV by Hummel) - being vulnerable for tanks fire is a price for benefit of hitting targets trough whole map.
This is nothing new russians have the best medium, heavy, and tds in the game. they are pissed that the germans yes the germans had the best premium money making tank out there so this should come as no surprise.that just couldnt happen they had to make a new premium russian tank to be top dog for money makeing. Its sad really how simple it is to understand.once again you see just how bias this game is. all i can do is laugh this is some funny stuff.Just wait till the is4 goes tier 10 i can promise you that they will give it a bigger gun than the is7 too which is gonna rellay piss alot of people off when they do it but as sure as im siting here its coming also it will be faster than any other heavy except is7 i promiss you that as well.The is4 is gonna be the monster of the battle field ill be here to see it but i will be playing for free until then. T32 got one wheel less than T29-T30, but got better frontal armor. Also only 90mm guns was mounted on it. So better turret armor can compensate loss of better hull armor. On the other hand, they can take switch turrets between T29-T32. I dunno, I like idea of T32 on tier 7 cause guns configuration fits it well.

And I am not saying that as only-russian-tanks player, but I do have some of them, so I know how the things are (You cant recongize what I know from my current stats, since I began the first day closed beta was launched). I know german tanks in all classes, I know russian heavy and medium tanks and I know american heavy line and some of the arties. Russian are not OP at all. Maybe some are slightly better than its rivals, but some are worse. But not a single one is OP, because OP means significantly better. And none is significantly better, every single tank has its weakneses and its strengths. Its just about how you can or cant actually use the tank you are driving.

ReplyDeleteIf you read carefuly you can find lines about OP german and american tanks. Yes I think that so we called OP exist in every nation tree. And of course we can dispute about meaning of some words like slightly OP, OP or superior but I enlisted THINGS which I belive make some tanks OP (or slightly better or superior or what you want to pull instead of). You can agree with me that good armor and excellent gun (remember same gun exist on T8 premium but of course should be put on tier 6 or tier 7 max) make KW OP or try convince me that tank is UP. You got experience and you can share it with me. Which stats make T54 superior or worse than counterparts and how is it look in battle? Or why BL10 should be keep on ISU152? Or why T29 should be stretched to tier8 or leave it as it is? DISCUSS. ReplyDeleteFirst of all, I love this game. I have done the grind up to the IS-4 and T-44 and will soon have the IS-7 and the T-54. I am also grinding the German heavy and medium lines and hope to have an E-100, VK4502 Ausf(A), and an E-50 no later than one month after the 6.6 patch comes out. That being said, I have some concerns that have arisen regarding the tech trees.
It seems that the developers do not have a clear vision of the final tech trees. There is a revised tech tree available online for everyone to use to calculate which path they need to take through the tree in order to get to the tanks they desire. Unfortunately, based on this change in the Obj. 252, it seems that we cannot count on the revised tree to plan our grind through the game.
It takes hours (days) of gaming to earn the XP and credits to get a higher tier tank, so it would be really nice if the developers would finalize the tech tree and publish it so that we can all plan our path through the tree. What are the chances of this happening?
Honestly, sometimes it feels like you guys have a vision of the final structure of the game and sometimes I feel like you are making it up as you go. Do you have a response you would like to share with us?

ReplyDeleteI sort of agree that revising the tech tree a lot can be annoying. But: first of all they usually tell us WAY ahead of time what the changes will be, so everyone should be able to get the tanks they're gunning for before any changes mean they'll have to abandon the line they started and go for another tank to get the one they're after. Second is the fact that in this change nothing gets moved around, it's just a tier 9 tank gets tossed out, turned into a tier 8 premium, and a new tank is put into that tier 9 spot. It'll still lead to the same tier 10 tank.
well i remember that it was planned to introduce object 252 as tier 9 russian heavy tank in the second part of russian heavy tank tree and as gift to those who have already an is4 tank in garage.

Would like to suggest that instead of the new French tree comimg next that the Dev's think about giving us the Russian and American tree's first.It will be nice to explore a new tree but a lot of time an effort has gone into what we have now, just seem's more reasonable to sort out the tree's we have before a new one. ReplyDeleteheh, a 122mm will not perform similar to Lowe at all, unless it gets a pen boost, 175 avg is rather poor at tier 8 to deal with higher stuff, especially coupled with the awesome accuracy the non BL9 122s have.
