There is an update regarding the introduction of new tanks in 2011, see here. So the details:
- German and Soviet TDs won't make it this year, both lines are rescheduled for 2012
- Initial package of French tanks will come in Q4 2011 (18 vehicles)
- M103 and the revision of T34 is to be performed this year
- A few premium tanks will also arrive later this year (the exact vehicles to be specified)
That's it for 2011 in terms of new tanks.
Nice I can't wait to get T34 changed for some other Tier IX tank.

if on T34 in time of replace a have researched only tracks a have 10k XP, what i will get on M103?
ReplyDeletePLEASE OVERLORD, don't take away my T34. It's great fun. :( The only (huge) problem is the 100.000XP grind with the 105mm Tier7 Weapon. Most likeley the grind fucks up your statistics. I was on 39% winrate before I got the new cannon and now I'm up to 52%.

ReplyDeletePlease ignore the haters around here. From the other posts I have read on this blog I can conclude that a lot of players are looking forward to the M103. You are doing those players a large favour. Even though I am not looking forward to the french tanks I still see a lot of potential for the game in those. Sadly I will have to keep my KV3 and KV quite a while longer, but that's okay, being that I get free garage slots and 2 additional tanks I can sell (always lack credits since I don't use premium).
One question: Are there any information on the Sturmtiger yet (tier? price? armor? weapon? damage?)? Out of all the scheduled premium tanks it, as far as my research on it goes ;), is the only premium tank I consider to buy eventually. I would be grateful for some data on this tank.

Overlord, please answear me this question: to get IS4 as tier X and the obj 252 and an extra garage slot we have to have is4 in garage, but if we sell the is4 and rebuy it do we still get the garage slot and the tier 9 tank? First, thanks for the update. We have obviously been anxiously awaiting the US revision. I am glad to hear the T34 is getting some changes, too.
ReplyDeleteMaybe I don't understand. How does lack of a proper TD tree, stop the release of the T110? Move the T30 into it's own separate area, even leave it off the tree for now. (Like a premium tank) Release the T110, then add the T30 onto a TD tree in a later revision.
So just to clarify, the T34 will become Tier VIII Premium and the M103 will be the Tier IX. If the T34 is going to be Tier VIII Premium, can we expect the credit income of the Lowe or what?

ReplyDeleteIt has been confirmed that the T34 will keep its 120mm gun as a tier 8. How the tank will be changed to compensate for its tier change is currently unknown; probably an RoF and HP reduction.
I hope they don't drop it to something insane like 4.5, RoF is the ONLY thing the tank has going for it.

Remember most premium tier 8 tanks CAN be comparable to tier 9 tanks. I don't think there will be much tweeking for the t34 prem.
The "T34" is just a T29. Remember that. The only reason it has a new classification is because it has the 120mm gun. That's it. If you remove the 120mm, it stops being a T34.

The T34 will most likely receive a RoF and health nerf before becoming a tier 8.
The T34 should NOT receive any nerf as it is already a bad tank of it's current tier. If you nerf it, there is not point of still putting it around when a T29 can do similarly.
ReplyDeleteIf they do nerf it because the 120mm is described as "too much" for a Tier8, it should be nerfed only very little on the RoF department, the rest should be the same to make up for it being an easy kill.

ReplyDeleteNow with a Type59 I don't have to run anything below a Tier 7 unless I really want to. The middle tiers are becoming more and more vacant.
Unfortunate, but the game can't run without cash flow coming into the coffers either.
I am glad that Wargaming listened to their player base and pushed hard to get the T34 in this year, that says a lot to me a a premium subscriber.

That's a training room, and I just finished a game when I got corner'd by one in my patton. Couldn't get away other then direct fire him, 3 rounds into his lower plate and all 3 bounced.

ReplyDeleteKind of odd not seeing anyone say this, but thank you for finally deciding to release the M103. Of course we would like to see it in 7.0, but if you roll 7.1 out quick enough, I think we'll forgive you.
ReplyDeleteThat still doesn't mean that the T34 doesn't require a buff to stay competitive before this happens. It's one of the worst performing tanks in the game for its tier, and continuing to ignore it is alienating and generating contempt from part of your consumer base.
All you need to do is throw some hitpoints on it, or give it a larger view range (420m at tier 9? Seriously?), or perhaps even buffing the 120mm damage by 10-20 damage. Just give us SOMETHING, and we'll shut up about the T34.
Q: What is the percentage of T34 play vs other equivalent Heavy Tank? ie... IS-4, VK4502 B, or E-75?

Assuming the T25-2 and T28 prototypes are cheap knock-offs with only a few cosmetic differences and that no one wants the M8A1 and T49, stop their development. Now instead of making the T34 premium, slide it over as the new Tier VIII US TD instead of the T28 prototype. And instead of the T25-2 replace it with the M36 buffed to have tier 7 stats. drop the M18 to tier 6.

Tumpinambis is right. Arty is okay the way it is, just limit it down to 3 (yes three!) per side so an all arty platoon can be sure to be the only arty on a team.
