- Soviet heavy tank IS-4 shift to tier 10 and introduction of Object 252 as new tier 9 Soviet heavy tank.
- New US premium light tank M22 Locust.
- New Soviet premium light tank Т-127.

It uses the same gun but currently the IS-4 shoots at a rate of 4.44 RPM while the IS-7 has 5 RPM.

My jagdpanther has a net, crew at 100% secondary skill is camo at about 50% yet I can be totally hidden in bushes and still for 30 seconds yet soviet TD can sneak up to me from the front un noticed and one shot me.
Suggestion
1 Have a screen statistic that indicates level of visibility so that you know when you are invisible and when not
2 Be certain that bugs dont exist that give certain tanks unfair hidden advantages
3 Put all camo levels to 0 and sell paint to provide a base level of camo

Also lets assume a objekt comes from the side and stops about 100m from you in a bush. Hes facing you. He can now spot and 1 shoot you, while you will only be able to spot him once he fires.

ReplyDeleteI'd like to leave some thoughts on the tech-tree in the context of clan wars. Please try to force gameplay in the direction of combined arms tactics.
WW2 armored warfare was all about victory within difficult restrictions AND successful use of combined arms. There never was the luxury of a battle with top-of-the-line equipment for anyone.
I believe you should aim for several layers of gameplay both in tiers and difficulty. The introduction of more tactical challenges (weather, time, shooting smoke or light and a skill-tree for more personalized crews).
In short the game should become more tactically challenging with higher tiers, as for now it is just too much a question of which teams can pile up most IS7's and T30's and go straight forward.
Keep up the excellent work and please, please give us a good E50. I will wait in patience as long as it is on par with same tier mediums.
Overlord, would you (the team) consider changing critical hit mechanism so that critical hits dont protect tanks from damage?
ReplyDeleteMany times i have wonderd why light tanks, low tier TDs and SPGs survive 2-5 shots from a zis-6 or 88' guns suffering a total of 0 damage by shedding their tracks, losing thier drivers, and the like.
Perhaps a crit could absorb some of the damage from shots, but not all.

I have been told and read some things about there being several ways to get free tanks/tank slots on the russian heavies that are being put out and some of the german tanks (i.e getting a free panther 2 if you have a panther and with the different KV #s and others) but all I have seen for the US tree is the pershing is being replaced with the patton, the T23 is being replaced with the M26, the T34 is being replaced with the M103, but the exception to that I have heard is that you get a free T30 US tier 9 TD when it comes out if you have the tier 10 T30 heavy researched and you also get a replacement T110

The Korodil with 175mm gun is much more better for a big fire power TD line
The weak armor Emil did knocked out a only Pershing in EU with just 1 shot so I think the new line must got more fire power than the old one
Well at least they have to had equal fire power to one tier higher TD in USSR line due to super weak armor(30-60 till they get to the Fer it suddenly jump up to 200mm)

@Overlord: Right now I'm grinding for the Maus. If I understood your posts and the updated tanktree correct I have to reach the Tier 9 "VK4502 Ausf B" before the 6.6 update goes live or otherwise I will be thrown back to the Tier 6 VK3001P on my way to the Maus? I have to start again at Tier 6 and unlock the new Tiger P and VK4502 Ausf A? That would be a setback of around 200k XP!

That's why you get the Object 252 for free if you have IS-4 in your garage when the update comes out. Then you van research Object 252-> IS-7
If you're aiming for the IS-7 you're lucky. No matter how far you get until the tanktree update goes live you won't lose any progress. If you reach the IS or IS-3 you will be at the same tree as the IS-7 after the patch. And if you reach the IS-4 (which will shift after the update) you will get the new Object 252 for free which is just one step away from the IS-7.

As a matter of fact the whole designation
T34 was the last upgrade of the T29 who
was set with a 120mm gun.
So will a 120mm gun be set on it with
the kind of damage the Lowe can dish out ?
And i take the opportunity to ask if
there will be some though put in the
T5E1 105mm gun ? Will it be set as a tiers 8
for the T29, and have some upgraded
version of it put on the T32 and incoming
M103 ?
The question is very important because
actualy with all the nerf on the 105
grinding the T34 has become a real pain.
And if the M103 has the exact same gun
it will not improve the game experience
of the US drivers.
I must say until now i'm pretty
happy with most of the addition and
correction, but the nerfing of the 105mm
again and again started to be hard to
consider fair, especialy with the cost
of the shells and the exp needed to
